Wes represents individuals and companies in matters in state and federal court in commercial and personal litigation and also regularly advises clients on administrative law matters, contract matters, corporate matters, shareholder/partner disputes and wrongful termination cases.

Wes’ practice has historically focused on the health care industry through which he regularly advises physicians, physician practices and other health care clients in contract matters, Medicare/Medicaid matters and other health care related issues. Wes also regularly represents individuals and entities, particularly health care professionals, on the full range of state licensing and regulatory matters, including South Carolina Labor, Licensing and Regulation enforcement actions.

Wes has extensive experience representing health care practitioners in administrative and civil litigation matters.  Wes has represented physicians, nurses, physical therapists, compliance professionals, vendors and healthcare executives advising them on health care fraud and their role as potential whistleblowers.  Wes has particular experience in False Claims Act cases involving the Stark Law, the Antikickback Statute, pharmaceutical and medical device laws and regulations, contractor billing, and medical necessity cases.

Prior to forming Rogers Lewis, Wes practiced at Nexsen Pruett, LLC, maintained his own solo practice, and practiced as an in-house general counsel for a health care company.
